Ever wanted to know what it's like

to ride in a rally car?

Ever watched a rally car compete and thought,

I'd love to try that?

Well here's your chance!

RallyWA have organised a very special event for those who'd like to have a go at gravel rally

driving or co-driving. Saturday October 31st will see the Mundaring hills host the Come 'n' Try

Rally. A 2km gravel road section will be closed to the public whilst current competitors

demonstrate their skill and passion for the sport.

Anyone interested in stepping up to gravel rallying is invited to Come ‘n’ Try rally driving or

co-driving in whatever vehicle they have1. During the day, newcomers will be able to listen to a

number of information sessions on how to get into rally, setup your car and co-drive. There will

be plenty of opportunities to observe the drivers in action and see the different drivers and cars

in action.

A very limited number of rides will be made available to the public for a small fee. So if you’re

interested in a ride get in early! Rally Drivers, this is an opportunity to take your sponsors,

service crews and potential new co-drivers for a ride.

This event is not just for the boys either! Ladies are most welcome and may be surprised to find

out how many females compete in rallying.

This event is aimed at anyone interested in rallying. No experience is necessary and all safety

equipment is provided2. Anyone interested in a ride should come prepared with a long sleeve

shirt, long pants and closed in shoes. Helmets will be provided but please bring your own if you

have one.
